Here ye go folks, I'm done. Officially retired. Hanging up my trainers by the laces. 

It's the penultimate one!!  49 HMs completed and one to go. Was lucky to be joined by Dale today so it was more of a pleasure than a toil. Join me in a week for the dramatic conclusion. 

It's dawned on me that if I burn my 🔥👟🔥 trainers in 10 days, this will be the last time I run these hills 🤣. This run completes number 48 of 50.

Joined by Fiona again today for number 47. Could have done with staying in bed to be honest, but then I wouldn't have been able to say that there's only THREE TO GO!

Mrs D joined me today for Half Marathon 46. There are now fewer than 100km left to run. Woop woop!

A trip to Falkirk for a Trail Run with Jonathan for #45. Running's more enjoyable with company ☺️

An early morning run with the onset of another cold, would really rather have been in bed but that's another one chalked off. 

Cheeky midweek run to rattle through the tally and my first run in my fifties!!!  7 to go and almost £4000 raised. Thank you everyone.

Finally ticking over into single figures with a midweek Half for number 41. 10 minute downpour after 4km assured I was soaked for the duration. 🤣

After two weeks off with the lurgy, that's me back with Half Marathon 40 out of 50. 80% complete. Yass!

Half Marathon 39 of 90… was coming down with some hideous bug but determined to get to 40 by the end of August. Will probably regret this one.
